Unveiling surgical innovation
AAO-HNSF Elevating ENT Practice
In the fast-paced world of medicine, staying at the forefront of advancements is crucial for Otolaryngologists, or as we affectionately call them, ENTs. Fresh research and surgical techniques emerge each year, reshaping the surgical landscape. Neurovision Medical Products (NMP) is looking forward to exhibiting in the OTO Experience during AAO-HNSF 2023. We welcome each ENT and the AAO-HNSF community as you expand your knowledge, connect with peers, and explore the newest surgical technologies.
Attending this conference is a valuable chance for us to learn from your experiences, understand challenges, and ensure our innovations in IONM provide you with surgical solutions. We've consistently supported AAO-HNSF because your community sets the gold standard in otolaryngology, inspiring us to match your commitment.
Neurovision's participation, alongside fellow exhibitors, reflects our shared dedication to excellent patient care and professional growth.
Introducing Nerveäna Plus: Elevating Nerve Monitoring Technology
At this year’s meeting, you will have the opportunity to explore the
The Nerveäna Plus (NV+) retains all the features and technologies that our users deeply appreciate from Nerveäna, the original Surgeon-Driven Nerve Monitoring System. However, it elevates these capabilities to the next level by offering a seamless and enhanced user experience. With a streamlined interface and an intuitive touchscreen OS called EMGView8, this system empowers surgeons to precisely locate, monitor, and confirm nerve integrity in complex procedures.
In essence, the Nerveäna Plus is not just a transition; it's an evolution in neuromonitoring technology, tailored to the needs and requests of the surgical community.
Enhancing Hypoglossal Nerve Monitoring for ENTs
The flagship NV+ Surgical Kit for Hypoglossal Nerve Monitoring (HNM) exclusively offers a comprehensive IONM process to the ENT community. This all-in-one kit by Neurovision Medical Products is a complete solution for performing neuromonitoring during the initial implantation of a Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulator(HNS).
What sets our HNM kit apart is its inclusion of an extra electrode for elective orbicular oris monitoring. Additionally, surgeons can select the kit that includes a stim probe (bipolar minifork), eliminating the need to purchase or ensure the separate components are readily available. These features ensure the seamless delivery of two critical functions essential to the success of the initial HNS procedure: accurate placement of the stimulation cuff and confirmation of stimulator activation through real-time EMG signals.
While monitoring the Hypoglossal Nerve itself is not revolutionary, our surgical kit for HNS Therapy streamlines the process. All kit components are universal and adaptable for procedural flexibility to provide unique advantages to ENT professionals, contributing to the unique patient needs for treating Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).

Sessions/Panels
We are looking forward to attending the following session as an opportunity to learn about the advances in surgical procedures and recognize opportunities for us to enhance our technology.
How to Perform Bilateral Neck Exploration for Hyperparathyroidism in 2023
Date: Monday, October 2nd, 2023
Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
This session delves into topics directly related to Neurovision's passopn for IONM and EMG technology. It unravels the complexities of differentiating between primary, secondary, and tertiary hyperparathyroidism, examines the workup for multi-gland disease in hyperparathyroidism, and underscores the significance of preoperative localization imaging.
About
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Case-Based Presentations that will highlight: -Differentiating between hereditary primary, secondary, and tertiary hyperparathyroidism (multi-gland hyperparathyroidism) -When to expect and plan for bilateral neck exploration for parathyroid surgery (Non-localizing parathyroid adenoma, Hereditary primary hyperplasia vs non-hereditary primary hyperplasia) -Understand the workup for multi-gland disease in hyperparathyroidism, with attention to secondary and tertiary hyperparathyroidism and post-operative medical management (include hungry bone syndrome) -What happens if preoperative localization imaging is a false positive during surgery and the strategy to bilateral neck exploration? Tips and advice from the experts
